«Conscientious Objection Instructions» Application

1. General

This Privacy Policy describes what data the mobile application «Conscientious Objection Instructions» (hereinafter referred to as the Application) collects and how it is processed.

The Application is distributed free of charge via Google Play and is intended to provide information about alternative civilian service in the Russian Federation.

2. What Data is Collected

2.1. Technical Diagnostics (Sentry)

To ensure stable operation, the Application uses Sentry:

• Crash reports: if the Application terminates with an error, a technical report is sent with information about the type of error and location in the code.
• Performance metrics: anonymous metrics of screen loading times and operation speed.
• Session recordings on errors: when a crash occurs, a sequence of user actions may be recorded. All text fields and images are masked — only actions are visible, not content.

What is NOT collected:

• IP address
• Cookies
• User identifiers
• Entered text content
• Personal data

2.2. Local Storage (SQLite)

The Application uses a local SQLite database on the device for:

• Caching articles for offline reading
• Storing settings (theme, font size)

This data never leaves the device and is not transmitted to servers.

2.3. Network Requests

The Application accesses the API server for:

• Retrieving article lists
• Loading article content
• Updating data

All requests:

• Use HTTPS encryption
• Do not require authorization
• Do not transmit personal data
• Contain only technical parameters (ID of requested article)

3. What is NOT Used

The Application does not use:

• Microsoft Clarity
• Google Analytics
• Firebase Analytics
• Advertising from any third-party networks
• Location tracking
• Access to contacts, photos or files
• Web browsing tracking

4. Installation via Google Play

When installing the Application via Google Play:

• The fact of installation is registered in your Google account
• Google collects standard statistics (install counts, reviews, crash reports via Google Play Console)

This is beyond the control of the Application developers. If it is critical for you to avoid association with a Google account — use direct APK download from the developer's website.

5. User Rights (GDPR)

If you are under GDPR or similar jurisdictions:

• Right of access: you may request information about data associated with you
• Right to deletion: Sentry data is stored for a limited time (90 days), after which it is automatically deleted
• Right to data portability: local SQLite data can be exported/deleted via device settings

For requests regarding data processed through Sentry: contact tech@peaceplea.org with a description of the time range and approximate description of the action during which data may have been collected.
